About the Job
Join Shieldworkz and be the frontline of our revenue engine. As an SDR, you’ll own prospecting and qualification for OT/ICS cybersecurity opportunities, turning market signals into meetings and real pipeline. You won’t just book demos; you’ll help shape how operators and asset owners first encounter Shieldworkz mission-critical protections for industrial environments.
Role Description
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Prospecting and outbound outreach to target accounts in energy, manufacturing, oil & gas, transportation, and other critical-infrastructure sectors.
Researching account structures and mapping decision-makers and influencers (operators, plant managers, OT engineers, procurement, CISOs).
Running personalized multi-channel sequences (cold calls, email, LinkedIn, social touchpoints) to create qualified meetings for Account Executives.
Qualifying inbound and marketing-generated leads using consistent frameworks and documenting discovery in the CRM.
Managing and prioritizing a high-volume activity cadence while maintaining excellent CRM hygiene.
Collaborating closely with Marketing and Sales to refine messaging, surface market insights, and optimize handoff processes.
Participating in webinars, industry events, and virtual demos as a representative of Shieldworkz when appropriate.

We want someone who moves quickly, learns technical concepts fast, and is energized by starting conversations that matter. You should be comfortable in a high-activity role, driven by KPIs, and excited to grow within a cybersecurity company focused on operational technology.
Ideal Qualifications:
2–5 years experience in B2B sales, SDR/BDR, outbound/inside sales, or a related customer-facing role.
Track record of high-volume outreach and meeting or quota attainment (internships, campus sales programs, or prior SDR roles count).
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft concise, relevant messaging for technical and executive audiences.
Experience using CRM and outreach platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or similar).
Highly organized, resilient to rejection, and comfortable iterating on messaging based on feedback and results.
Self-starter mentality with a growth mindset and willingness to learn OT/ICS domain concepts.
